After Hope (vintage 2018), Trust (vintage 2019), Courage (vintage 2020) and Optimism (vintage 2021) comes the fifth edition of the Renaissance collection with the Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d’Alba Renaissance 2022. The Barolo of Tenacity.
Tenacity is the fifth sentiment of the ten-year project, dedicated to the Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d’Alba, which explores the 10 feelings that in the history of our civilization gave rise to collective rebirth, together with great writers and renowned illustrators. After Hope, Trust, Courage and Optimism, we enthusiastically present the 2022 year dedicated to Tenacity.
This edition features the famous writer Emanuele Trevi, with the monograph entitled “A better tomorrow. The story of a paperweight” and the illustrator and comic artist Elisa Macellari, with the visual work “Tenacity, quality and vision of the future”.
The Barolo of Tenacity: 2022 vintage
Some lives remain in the silence of daily gestures. It’s not the duration of an existence which determines its value, but rather the tenacity with which one pursues what one believes in. In a time marked by vulnerability, greatness is the consistency between thought and action. Tenacity always wins and allows us to stay standing in a situation of unstable balance. A rare, true and quiet strength, that, together with Emanuele Trevi and Elisa Macellari, has motivated us to give life to Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d’Alba 2022, dedicated to Tenacity.
A wine with an intense garnet red colour and light purple tones at the rim. The nose initially reveals sweet sensations surrounded by notes ranging from citrus to dark cherry, closing with mentholated, almost camphorated notes. On the palate, it is rich, dense, juicy and balanced with silky tannins and a fresh, tasty, almost savoury finish.
A Barolo, in which even the choice of packaging is also not left to chance; with tenacity, we chose a closure unlike any other called Subr.
